Home Sweet Home

We returned from Boca Raton late Wednesday.  We had a great time.  For most of the trip I didn't feel like myself.  Maybe a funk you could call it.  Starting Sunday night (i think) I began to feel run down.  Maybe it could be a little hangover? HA.  Well I have taken on another sinus infection.  I started feeling worse.  I kept going trying to enjoy the long awaited vacation.  Wednesday I thought I was on the road to recovery since I felt a little better only to realize it was just a cruel joke.  I spent most of Thursday in bed and all suitcases still packed.  I will get to them soon-hopefully.  It's the last thing I want to do right now.  Small steps!

So back to the trip.  Boca is a BEAUTIFUL place.  So well groomed and clean!  Once I asked "where is the hood?"  LOL  I am sure they have bad parts but not in the area we traveled.  The last day we drove up to  Palm Beach.  The water was gorgeous.  This is a beautiful place also, more so.  Worth Street is a shopping district like Rodeo Drive in LA.  UNAFFORDABLE for us anyway.  This town is full of older wealthy people!!!! everywhere!!!!  We stuck out like a sore thumb because of our age.  This goes to show that TRUE WEALTH doesn't happen in young people unless you are a celebrity.  OLD money is true wealth that is carried down through the family tree.  That is what this little town is all about.  I think I will stick to Destin!

A little fishin.
