Grey's is GRAY

I should really stop watching GREY'S ANATOMY. I watched 2 episodes this am before everyone woke up and BALLED MY EYES OUT!!!!

The New Years Rings

We totally missed the New Year! SLEEPING!

We had a spur of the moment get together the next evening which turned out to be a lot of fun! Our neighbors and Reagan's friend Abby came over! This night we stayed up until midnight!!

The new year is off to a great start. We sold our house in the middle of all the end of year chaos and are working on getting a new one. The packing begins. I am loving cleaning out and throwing old items away! So relaxed and enjoying not having anything to do or places to be unless we want to!

Reagan had her first gymnastics class on Saturday. She LOVED it and sooo did I! I went that same day to a small photo class to get a few tips on my camera :). Can't wait to take the editing class that teaches how to work with photoshop!

So what about new years resolutions?

1.   Get to the GYM
2.   Eat better
3.   Surround myself with people who treat me well & make me smile. Push away all the others
4.   Stay on top of laundry & dinner meals
5.   Go to the gym
6.   Go to the gym
7.   Watch more reality TV. HaHa
8.   Save more money
9.   Play more with my kids
10. Be more open & honest with my feelings.
11. Be careful not to hurt others feelings or say negative things .

We all have our bad moments of frustration. Sometimes our emotions are directed at others when it has nothing to do with them at all. (that's when we take it personal). We shouldn't criticize other's negative behavior when I am SURE we have had an episode from time to time, even if no one witnessed it!

People just seem to forget the last time they exploded in frustration but sure do want to bad mouth someone else for it.

Know when to apologize. One of my beefs is when someone is in the WRONG and never acknowledge it or apologize for their behavior. They just move on LIKE IT NEVER happened.

We don't forget how people make us feel.

When someone hurts my feelings or makes me feel bad, I never forget it & have a hard time forgiving it. I put up a wall. Then they never apologize & just go on like it never happened... I don't forget. I need people to say they were out of line and let's get through it and move on!

I don't bash people. But when you are around people who do it, it tends to rub off on ya. Very contagious.   They say misery loves company. Those people flock together. So you have to distance yourself.

Elf on the shelf had a very fun season. He was a major flirt and participated in lots of mischief.

He also hung out with a bottle of whiskey and snow white. He hung upside down from the cabinet while he drank pancake syrup through a straw and he rolled the xmas tree.

The kiddos got lots of goodies from grandaddy including a workbench & kitchen. Riley & Chandler got lots of money this year!

I need to give credit when due. I think grandaddy TOM is the best. He makes a HUGE effort to be around the kids and involved with us in whatever way he can! Thanks a bunch. We don't even have to ask he just jumps right in! KUDDOS

Zac & Diane had a new baby (Reese). The kids think she is the best. They call her baby Reese.

Christmas 2011

With all the prior events going on, here comes CHRISTMAS. Which I have a love/hate relationship with. I adore my childhood memories of xmas but it's really hard to find a way to incorporate them into this family. All I can say is I have feelings too and want to establish traditions for my family/children just like everyone else. As an in-law no-one cares what you want!!!! SAD but TRUE....

Sooo next we jump on board the xmas madness. I vow to do my xmas shopping soooo much earlier. I HATE the CROWDS...

It's a NEW year!

So I have made a few resolutions for the new year and writing about my life & children is on the list. I have not been very consistent at this blogging thing but I sure have a ton of content! My kiddos do and say so many funny things that I must wright them down. I will & do forget by the next day most of the time. I really want to document these fun moments. For now I document everything in pictures! Which can be better because you get all the emotion!

The last half of the yr was a crazy one. In late august I went under the knife for a herniated cervical disc. They placed a 1 level plate w/screws at leve C6-7. I could not drive for 7 days and I could not pick up my kids for many weeks. A few of my co-workers were my best support system. They brought food/meals and helped bathe my kids for me. It's times like these when you really miss not having the proper family support system. Dad is in Colorado and my mom is past away! So I am pretty much on my own. I always get through it some way, some how. Usually with many tears involved :) I vow to always be there for my children and there spouses as if they were my own!

Then it's birthday season! Reagan turned 2 on Sept 25th. The Little Gym was a great experience

Then came my birthday Oct 5th. We dined at Tillmans Roadhouse with the Field's! Always a good time with them. Tillman's is such a unique place, just loved it!
