So the last few months have been kinda crazy. Reed was having a severe personality issue and I was getting a cervical flare-up. Come to find out this was a NEW level leaving me with pain, numbness and tingling. Pretty quick resolution with a spur of the moment surgery. Recovery has gone well but I started to have pain on the other side (Left) and couldn't wait for my follow-up appointment to get this under control, praying is wouldn't lead to another surgery. Diagnosis- inflammation and very common after this type of surgery. Anti-inflammatories, heat and exercises along with time should do the trick. So I am on a mission to be pain free and back to work w/good spirits. All this discomfort has sure brought me down! So I have been at the gym everyday (except) today for neck and arm excercising, along with some steam heat in the (ecalyptus)hot steam. AWESOME. I cannot believe I am sore from lifting 5 lb weights. WOW. It is doing the trick. My pain is slowly easing and I can see the end of this in sight. My incision is almost INVISIBLE. You have to look to know it's there!
Reed on the other hand has had a complete turn around in his behavior! I am soooo crazy about my new and improved toddler. Does age 4 approaching have anything to do with it? maybe? He has gotten 3 notes from school in the last couple of weeks about how well he has been behaving! I am OVER THE MOON about this....While my girl is approaching 2 this weekend. I can see tidbits of the terrible 2's coming..... I hope I can handle the second go around a bit better w/o the stress.
Reagan is talking up a storm. She says "go daddy" at the red light and she sticks her tongue and has this little accent or lisp? it's soooo stinkin cute. When she thinks she has hurt something she says "so sorry". I caught her playing dressup at school. She was loving it! She still loves to take a bath. They are both very fond of dogs and there will be one in the near future, I am sure.
Reagan's 2nd birthday is Sunday! It will be sweet, fun, and SIMPLE!
