OMG! It all started on Tuesday @ 4 am. Pounding sleet and plumeting temps. 4 days later we have ice covered roads and 5 inches of snow as of last night! School has been out since Tuesday. Danny decided he would be the one to stay home with the kiddos. I bet he is regretting that decision :) I got a low census day today so we are all home. Everyone is going stir crazy and Reed says he wants to go back to school. Today all the kiddos (riley chandler and reed) went outside and played in the snow.. I went out to capture a few photos and got smashed in the face with a snowball by Danny. Camera and all. He said he was meaning to hit Riley. Yeah right. Not sure I am buying it. It's sooo cold the play doesn't last long except for Reed who has a meltdown and does not want to come inside. Bummer. Wish we could stay out longer and let him burn off some energy but it's just tooo cold. Superbowl week has been a disaster i am sure for all those wanting to participate. Saturday and Sunday look promising with temps reaching the 40's. Better than 20. Although it's pretty and doesn't happen often in Texas I am ready for it to be over. I want some weather in the 80's with sun, sand, cold beer, and some pool time. Can't wait.
