The Blanton Bunch

A couple of days ago Reed went to the Pediatrician for his 3 yr check up.  He currently weighs 38 lbs and is 40 inches tall.  If he continues on this rapid growth pattern he will be 6'3" & 220 lbs.  Exactly the same as dad.  He did get one shot and did not even whimper.  Nothing.  Not a peep.  He is sooo tough.

Today when I picked the kiddos up from school they were in a great mood.  Reed has decided he wants a MOTOR BOAT.  We need to go get a trailer and put the motor boat on it!  Right NOW!  I guess boats were the topic of the day at school.  While looking through a picture book tonight he comes across a TOUCAN bird.  He calls it by the correct name when he sees it!  Not sure where he picked that up but I was impressed.

Reagan is going to get tubes in both ears on the 26th.  I hope this helps her feel better and keeps her ears clear.  She is getting sooo big.  We are in the beginning stages of getting rid of the paci.  It is getting much easier and she has become more vocal ever since.  We try to only let her have it at nap time and emergencies (you know what I mean).
