So Saturday we spent most of the day @ The Gaylord. Our mission was to see ICE. Many ask "Was it worth the money?" Welllll! Depends. Neat story behind the making of the exhibit. My kids had no clue who Charley Brown was. Reed does now but has yet to mention him since. Thank goodness age 3 and under are free. It's something to do! with your kids! Will they remember it? Depends on their age. 3 and under? NO they will not really care or remember most likely. I am sure there are a few out there that will but my 3 yr old was way more into the many train exhibits throughout the hotel. He did like the slide (inside ICE) in 9 degree weather. ONE trip down was plently! Considering you have a sleepy one yr old on your hip.
This was followed by a trip to Kincaids burgers! The kids were starving! Therefore they sat quitely and ate like vultures! YES! to starving your small children before going out to lunch/dinner. (not really!!!) just delaying the eating schedule a bit for all you judgemental folks. Although it's a wonderful mommy tip no-one would ever share due to judgement. I will! and it's AMAZING. It will be featured in my book! REAL LIFE MOMMY! Tips no-one says outloud!
After that we went to Nordstrom Rack to spend our GROUPON! We love the groupon by the way! This is where the 3 yr old meltdown began and the devil comes alive! NO NAP at this point! That says it all. MOMMY TIP! Stay on the schedule that you and your children are accustomed to! We venture out of this from time to time but ALWAYS regret and pay for it in the end!
