Christmas if officially over! Reed was pretty cute opening his gifts this year. Reagan is still a little unsure about it! Reagan got a potterybarn 1st chair and she loves it. I just caught Reed and Reagan both sitting in their chair side by side. Reed would get up and leave his chair and Reagan would jump up and sit in it just to irritate him. She is learning how to bug him and it's soooo funny. Pictures to follow.
As the new year starts I am determined to get more organized at home. Those who work closely with me know I am OCD in the workplace. Why I can't do this at home is a mystery to me. I keep things very organized & have a routine at work. Maybe I do this because if i make a mistake it could put a patient in danger. I try to make my workday as stress free and easy as possible. WORK SMART NOT HARD! This helps me to keep from making mistakes. My goal is to carry this into the home a little more. My husband bought us this book to give us some ideas.
I will be the one reading it and passing on the info! Just need time to read it! HA.
I am not messy or disorganized at home but could use some ideas to make my evenings run more smoothly.
Most days i find myself coming home to housework, laundry, dinner, baths and bedtime. This is after a full day of work that began at 5 AM. I am feeling OVERLOADED. I can't seem to stay ontop of it all and still have down time to enjoy myself or my family. This is going to involve getting rid of STUFF we use once or twice a yr. Replacing items we don't really care for with items we LOVE.
Example: Do we really need 12 towels downstairs and 8 upstairs. Not really! I don't mind using a towel twice. It is clean anyway if you used it to shower. Right! If it's wet and mildewy that's another story. So getting rid of some towels and replacing the old ones with nice new ones is on the list! and not so many!
I will try and let everyone know how this adventure is going!
