Trying to Catch Up

I have sooo much to say and get caught up on my thoughts.  First I want to say that my perfect/imperfect momisms are mostly sarcastic.  Most of them are feelings that came from someone else making myself or someone else feel a certain way.  So take it with a grain of salt!

Next...Reed is cracking me up!  He told me to take back his halloween costume to the store (tiger).  He didn't want to dress up nor did he want to trick or treat.  Last week I got him a couple of pairs of new shoes.  I bought some of the popular converse shoes!  He wants those to go back to the store also!  When I tried to take them back he got upset and wanted to keep them.  I still have them so we will see if he will wear them soon.  If not, they are going back.  Not cheap!

So we all were watching the CMA awards last week.  Reed was sitting next to me on the couch.  I began to softly sing along.  He reaches around and puts his hand over my mouth and says  "momma, your NOT a singer".  Thanks for reminding me REED.  LMAO.  SOOOO funny!  I am still laughing.

REAGAN!  She has about 4 new teeth coming in.  She will have a mouth full of teeth soon.  She loves STANDING on the riding toys.  She would live outside with REED if she could.  They both love being outdoors.

So the HOLIDAYS are coming up soon.  I tend to get emotional around this time for a few important reasons.  First,  It makes me miss my own traditions and ways of doing things when I was going up!  Which there are only a couple I WANT to carry on!  I am really open to anything else.  I miss my mom ALL the time.  It's really hard to even think about it.  I really want her here to enjoy my kids.  To shop with.  To have a conversation with.  Someone who cares about ME and my kids.  I really want all these and more in an extended family.  The holidays tend to exagerate these feelings.  I could say a ton more on that subject but no one really cares or can do anything to change it.  It is what it is and I just need to deal with it.

On that note I would like to say how much I appreciate Dannys dad coming every weekend and spending time with us and the kids.  I am really loving getting to know him better and building a stronger bond.  He is great with the kids and they enjoy his company.  He is great company and very helpful.  He doesn't hesitate to jump in to help us. He doesn't wait to be asked he just knows when we need and does it.  My hats off to him!  Got to go for now. TO BE CONTINUED!!! stay tuned
