Reeds Surgery

Well Reed had surgery on May 12 to release his tongue. It took about 10-15 min to do the procedure. He was too wiggly to do it in the office. He pretty much slept and fussed the majority of the day. He drooled like crazy! All is back to normal. We tried sweet peas over the weekend. That was NOT a success so we tried sweet potatoes. Bingo! He loves them and will eat the entire jar in one sitting. I was reading that children should be off the bottle by 12 months. So I must get busy introducing him to new foods. I think I am a little behind on this. He can start whole milk at one year of age. Yea. We have yet to get a sippy cup but I am currently pondering which one to get PBA free, handles, no handles, etc ......I need to make a trip to Babies R Us to check out their selection. I don't think I have been in a few weeks. We start swim lessons on May 9th. He is sitting up pretty well. Just needs to be watched, he is still unsteady and falls over frequently. He can get on all fours and bounce. He should be taking off any day now.
I was thinking the other day on my way to work at 6 AM about the day when someone has nothing to talk about other than their children, someone else , or just random criticism. If I ever start to do that PLEASE let me know! I don't want to be that person who has nothing to say or no life outside of motherhood. It seems I find those peeps all around me. I try to wave off those folks but there are just too many! I received a wonderful video camera for Mother's Day and just love it. Thanks to my thoughtfull hubby! That's enough for now.
